Wilton Wright Jr. was born October 7, 1939 to the late Wilton Wright Sr. and Glenola Brown Wright. He said goodbye and expressed his love to his daughter Annette as she held him in her arms he closed his eyes and so peacefully went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2011.

Wilton Known by all as "Dickie" joined the Beulah Baptist Church at an early age. He was a devoted member and served the Trustee Ministry for many years. He also was a member of the bus ministry, which he drove for many occasions. He especially loved driving for the children as they attended the after school program, they will surely miss him. Dickie faithfully attended Wednesday night Bible Study.

Dickie was a fun loving person. If he met you he never forget you, he was a friend to all who knew him. He was sure to tease you.

Dickie graduated from Union High School in 1953. He retired from Kellers after heart surgery. He stayed busy carrying people to the doctor or where ever they needed to go. Wilton was a Master within the 33rd Degree of Prospect Lodge No 121 A.M P.H.A Spotsylvania VA

He was joined in holy matrimony to Ardene Wright for 36 years until she preceded him in death.

He leave to cherish his memory one daughter Mary Annette Boulware (David) and one son Jeffery M. Wright (Chante);six grandsons, Jermaine Boulware, Brandon Mason, Jayvannte, Jeffery Jr., Alexander(A.J.) and Wilton Wright; two granddaughters DeAndra (Dee) and Wynter Wright; one great granddaughter Jailyn Mercer; one devoted brother Thomas Wright Sr. (brew) one God daughter Yolanda Gray (Meatie);one brother in law Wendell Anderson; four aunts, Lelia Carter, Cora Coates(Walters),Doris Chapman(Carl),Ruth Wright: one uncle, Cliffton Fortune, a devoted cousin and friend Matlyn Edwards. Dickie was also loved by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He leaves special memories to his great nephew Lavell (Man Man) Wright.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 5, 2011, 12noon-8pm at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home and also 1 hour before service time at the church.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, 12 Noon at Beulah Baptist Church, 5216 Arcadia Road, Woodford, Va. 22580.
