Willis Linwood Sims, 69, known to many as "Manson" entered into enteral rest on Thursday,April 11, 2013, at Bon Secours Memorial Medical Hospital.
Willis was born to the late Linwood Sims and Fannie Taylor Sims on June 10, 1943.
He joined Jericho Baptist Church at an early age. He attended the Caroline County Public Schools.
He was employed with "Flying J" and Petro Truck Stop in Carmel Church for a number of years.
He leaves behind five daughters: Linda, Elaine, Teresa, Angela and Felecia; nine grandchildren: Shawn, Danielle, India, Nathaniel, Jermaine, Joseph, Contee Jr, April and Travis; five great grandchildren; one granddaughter in-law; Seven sisters: Ruby Lee, Jannie, Christine, Claudia, Fannie, Shirley and Beverly; four brothers: Charles, Robert, John and Timothy; one son- in law; four sisters in- laws; four brother in- laws and one devoted aunt: Zessie Carter of Maryland. His Devoted friends include: Tyrone Childs and Vincent Robinson. Hosts include, Claudette, the apple of his eye, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm - 8:00pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at C.W Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Va., 22427.
The celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Jericho Baptist Church, 8435 Jericho Rd., Ruther Glen, Va., 22546, followed by interment at Jericho Baptist Church Cemetery.
