On Tuesday, August 18, 2020, our Heavenly opened the book of life and began roll call. He looked at the name of our dear loved one, William Samuel Robinson, Jr., Teddy to most of us.

Teddy was born on July 9, 1967 to Gloria and William Robinson in Richmond, Virginia. He was the second of three children. He was baptized at Jerusalem Baptist Church at an early age and was educated in Caroline county. In recent years, he was employed at The Vitamin Shoppe Distribution Center in Ashland, VA. where he was loved by his co-workers. Teddy was very much a homebody but was known to keep you laughing whenever you saw him. He was a serious Dallas Cowboys fan even naming his dog Dallas after his favorite team. Today, the family pays tribute to him by wearing blue and white for his Cowboys.

Teddy is survived by a dedicated partner, Amy Brown for 22 years, two daughters, Tikisha Robinson and Nakita Golden, one son, William III (Liam) and like a son, Devron Brown, his parents, Gloria Young and William Robinson (Linda), two sisters, Cynthia (Cookie) Derricott and her husband, Bruce of Ashland, VA and Tiffany Robinson of Mt. Airy, NC., two grandchildren, Stephon and Shanell Harris, two half-brothers, Dwayne and Michael Robinson, three nieces, Kimberly Robinson, Chelsea Derricott, and Lindsey Samuel, three aunts, Annie Childs, Doris Chapman and Irma Weeden (Charles), two uncles, Robert Young (Faye) and Charles Young (Carolyn), devoted cousin, Darnell Wright and a host of other family and friends.

A walk thru viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Jerusalem Baptist Church , 21180 Bagby Road, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Due to COVID 19, a mask or face covering will be required upon entering building.
