Reverend, William M. Gibson, 87 of Richmond, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by one son, Weldon Gibson.

He leaves cherished memories to his wife; Jean Gibson, one daughter, Monica G. Friel; two sons, Wayne (Sherri) and Wesley (Kimberly) Gibson; four step children, Craig Johnson, Joy Purcell (Vincent), Cayce Johnson and Jerrell Johnson; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Black and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends among them, Bruce Fortune who was like a son.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. at  New Kingdom Christian Ministry, 3200  Dill Ave., Richmond, Virginia 23222, with a Omega ceremony from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.  and a  Christian  Service from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at St. Stephens Baptist Church, 29346 Sparta Road, Milford, Va. 22514, with a viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
