Wilbert Thomas Anderson of Ruther Glen, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Autumn Care Center in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

Wilbert was born September 27, 1941, in Caroline County to the late Walter and Annie Belle Anderson. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptisted at the Reedy Baptist Church in Ruther Glen.

He attended Caroline County Public Schools and was employed by Donoho Construction. He was married to the late Shirley Temple Anderson who preceded him in death on December 7, 2008.

Wilbert leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Deacon Andrew Anderson (Magdalene), his sister, Blanche Anderson, Five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law and a host of nieces - one devoted, Shirley Anderson, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from Noon to 8:00 P.M on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home and one hour before the service at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 also at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
