Warren Adolphus Baker of Caroline County, Virginia, entered the Pearly Gates of Heaven on October 10, 2021.  Warren was born November 16, 1961, to the late Clinton Fletcher and the late Christine Parker.

Warren attended Caroline High School in Milford, Virginia and later entered the United States Army where he served for a short time. At an early age, Warren joined the Macedonia Baptist Church in Woodford, Virginia.  Later in life, under the leadership of Reverend Carroll Jackson, he became and served as an usher.

Warren was a great father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend.  He was known to his family and friends as Doc, Knocky Socky, Mad Hatter, and Doc-a-lock, and his sister would call him Fred Sanford.  Warren was a pillar of his community.  He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan; loved to play bid whist; loved barbeques and music and was frequently a deejay for many people.

In addition to his parents, Warren was also preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Fletcher and his grandparents, Dansberry and Dorothy Baker.

Warren leaves cherished memories to his wife, Lillian Baker, five children, Eric Reynolds, Rashaunda Baker (Serenity), Reahanne Baker, Jozlyn Baker, Shaneé Baker, and stepson, Reyon Childs; sisters and brothers, Hassan Hameen, Janeequa Turner, Regina Parker Carter (Anthony); Clinton Fletcher (Kecia), Pam Lipkins (Keith), Vickie Fletcher, Frances Clemon, Debbie Fletcher, Matthew Fletcher; an uncle, Victor Baker (Leonore); and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Warren was also expecting a granddaughter and grandson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church , 7187 Macedonia Road, Woodford, Virginia 22580. There will be no viewing.

Internment will follow in the church cemetery.

Due to COVID 19 a mask or face covering will be required for Saturday.
