Wallace Lee Boone Sr. was born on January 17, 1944 and passed away Tuesday March 10, 2020 in his home. He was the son of the late Allen E. Boone and Lillian D. Boone of Caroline County. Wallace attended the old Union High School in Caroline County and later became a bricklayer. He excelled at being a bricklayer and choose to move to Richmond Virginia where he worked and lived until he passed.

He loved doing his job and often worked despite his bad health. He was not only a master of his trade but a teacher. He taught a lot of men how to lay brick and stone from Washington, DC to Richmond, VA. While taking him to the doctor's office, he would proudly point out one of his completed jobs as we drove past it smiling from ear to ear. He also enjoyed fishing and playing music on his guitar so much so that he was a member of a local band when he was younger called "The Souvenirs". Wallace played the lottery all the time and he would say that "one day I'm going to hit big but I'm still going to play".

Wallace was preceded in death by 2 of his siblings, James Boone Sr. and Joanne Ford. He leaves to cherish his memory 4 children, Bonita Wilson(Boone)-(Kirk),Kecia Fletcher(Clinton),Wallace Boone Jr. and Vonda Boone-Holley(Mike), a stepson Jeffery Deyo,12 grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Francesca Smith, Justin Smith, Jilisa Boone, April Morris (Donald),Cameron Holley, Jaylin Holley, Jessica Fletcher, Andrew Fletcher, Tremaine Fletcher, Alexander Fletcher and Braxton Wallace Boone, 17 great grandchildren, a sister Carolyn Tyree and a good friend Melvin,  also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he had and cherished.

Funeral services  and interment will be private.
