Vincent Edward Robinson was born on October 11, 1962 in Trenton, New Jersey. he departed this life on October 9, 2023.

Vince, as he was known to family and friends received his education in Caroline County Public schools. He loved to sing and dance as he was always the life of the party. His favorite National Football League was the Washington Redskins which is now called the Washington Commanders.

Vince would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed his help, even after losing his legs he still wanted to help. He loved his nieces and nephew as it wasn't anything he would do for them.

His father, McArthur Childs and  and one great nephew, Justin A. Blackmon, Jr. preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; Emma Childs, sister carmen Childs and four other siblings, aunts; Addie Fortune, Helen Morgan, Caroline Childs and Delois Smith and one other aunt, one uncle, two very special nieces; Latoya Purce (Toekence) and Ambria Childs, four great nieces; Lamiija Samuels, Te'Shayla Samuels, Samire Blackmon, Skyy Blackmon; one great nephew, Solomon Wilkerson, bonus niece; Michelle Terrell and very special friend and nephew, Shawn Sims and Wallace Pleasants  a host of other friends, colleagues and loved ones.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at St. James Baptist Church, 19514 Sparta Road, Milford, Virginia  22514, with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wrightsville Road, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.
