Obituary

Tiniki Price Jackson was born June 9, 1970 in Fredericksburg, VA to the late Curtis Hugh Price and Irish Beth Price. After a long battle with colon cancer, she departed this life peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, VA.

Tiniki gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, VA. She served as the Church Clerk, President of the Christian Education Ministry, a member of the Hospitality Committee, and an Arts and Crafts Teacher for Vacation Bible School. She was educated in the Caroline and Spotsylvania Public School Systems and graduated from Spotsylvania High School in the Class of 1988. At the end of her Junior Year of high school, Tiniki started as a Summer hire for the U.S. Department of the Navy. Upon graduating high school, Tiniki worked for various military agencies under the Department of Defense, such as: Marine Corps, Army, and Navy. Tiniki worked at the Pentagon, Quantico Marine Base, the Arlington Navy Annex, Fort A.P. Hill (Fort Walker), and most recently at the Washington Navy Yard. She served at The Naval Audit Service (Washington Navy Yard) for over twenty years and retired as Director of Operations. Tiniki had a total of 37 years and eight months of Federa lGovernment Service. Tiniki obtained her Associate's Degree from Germanna Community College and later received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Park University.

On October 20th, 1990, Tiniki married the love of her life, Charles N. Jackson. From this union, they were blessed with two children, Brittany Jackson and Brandi J. Williams. Tiniki lived her life by example and never wavered in her faith in God. As a breast cancer survivor and colon cancer warrior, Tiniki offered advice and guidance to uplift others throughout their cancer journey. Despite it all, she remained a positive light. Tiniki was preceded in death by her father, Curtis H. Price. She is survived by her husband of almost 36 years, Charles N. Jackson of Woodford, VA; their two daughters; Brittany Jackson of Woodford, VA, and Brandi J. Williams (Joshua) of Woodford, VA; her mother, Irish B. Price of Spotsylvania, VA; her mother-in-law, Karen K. Jackson of Fredericksburg, VA; father-in-law, Paul Jackson (Yvonne) of Fredericksburg, VA; her siblings, Tonya Price of Spotsylvania, VA, Guan J. Price (Samantha) of Spotsylvania, VA, and Barbara Johnson, of Farmville, VA; her brother-in-law, James C. Grant, of Winter Haven, FL, three nieces Samira Price, of Spotsylvania, VA, Isaeries Grant Ramos, of Kissimmee, FL, and Kyra Price, of Spotsylvania, VA; two nephews Torrez Ellis (Karina), of Fredericksburg, VA, and Guan J. Price II, of Spotsylvania, VA. Tiniki leaves to cherish her memory a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Ebenezer Baptist Church located at 18562 Countyline Church Road, Ruther Glen, VA 22546. The committal and repast will be immediately after the service.
