Theodore Leonidas Miller, the youngest son of the late Ella M. and Wilson B. Miller went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the home of his caregiver in Stafford, Virginia.
Theodore may not be remembered by many, but to his family and Mrs. Lorna Wright and her family he will always be remembered.
Theodore's passing brings an end to the "First generation of the Miller Family".
Theodore was born on November 22, 1928, in Caroline County, Virginia. He was the youngest of 12 children reared in a Christian Home. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of First Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Sparta, Virginia. He attended church regularly with his caregiver in Stafford, Virginia. He enjoyed the visits with his nephews to the family home always calling them "the boys".
He leaves to cherish his memory his nephews and nieces: Leonard Miller, Phyllis McNeal, Shirley, Robert, Dale, Michael, Veronica, Arthur and Jessie Miller, Fay Carter and June Courtney; many great nieces and great nephews; two special nephews: Robert W. and Michael W. Miller who visited Theodore often; Mrs. Lorna Wright who was more than a caregiver, and other family and friends.
Viewing will be from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 14, 2012 at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home and one hour before the service on Saturday.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia with the Rev. Otis L. Kay, Sr. officiating.
Interment will follow in First Mt. Zion (Sparta) Baptist Church Cemetery, 17065 Seals Road, Bowling Green,
Virginia.
