Our beloved husband and father, Stan L. Payne of Hanover, Virginia, surrounded by his loving and devoted family as he transitioned from labor to reward on October 22, 2019 at Bon Secours St Mary's Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Stan was born July 18, 1941 to the late Joseph and Roxie Payne.

Stan received his education in the New Jersey Public School System. He received his Bachelors of Science and Education and gained employment with the Pennsylvania Public School System from which he later retired after many years of service. He took pride in his various skills in workmanship and ventures in several entrepreneurial careers.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law Anna Cuccio (Lo Feudo). He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Elia Payne; four children, Penni, Johnny, Anthony (Valerie) and Dominico (Saline); ; four sister-in-laws, Rosaria (Gennaro), Angela (Rizzo), Maria (Jurado) and Imma (Izzo); six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.

Stan was a very quiet and humble man of few words. It brought joy to his heart to watch his family grow and concur life challenges. He will be greatly missed by his family and will always be in our memories and in our hearts. His love and pride was abundant and his presence was always appreciated.
