Shirley Purnell Anderson's Obituary
Shirley Purnell Anderson, 68, of Ruther Glen, Va. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Wilburt T. Anderson; four sisters:
Burnette Shearin, Mary Mosley and her husband Zollie, Lowraine Holmes and her husband Charles, and Elaine Walker and her husband James; two brothers: Alem Purnell and Tommie Purnell; three brothers-in-law: Walter Anderson, Charles Anderson, and Andrew Anderson (Inky); two sisters-in-law: Blanche Anderson and Magadeline Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, VA 22427 with the Rev. Rico Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Milford, VA.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 11, 2008 from Noon to 8:00 P.M. and one hour before the service on
Friday.
