Sandra Fay Lewis was born on January 8, 1956 to the late James Lewis and Martha Jackson of King William County, Virginia. On Friday December 30, 2022, at Ashland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sandra entered into eternal rest where she has found peace and comfort.
Sandra received her education in Baltimore Maryland Public Schools System. She accepted Christ at an early age. Later years, Sandra and her father moved to Virginia, but soon had to return to Baltimore because her father needed medical attention from John Hopkins Hospital.
Finally returning to Virginia, Sandra meets the love of her life, Russell Anderson. Who has been by her side and never gave up on her. Sandra was a loving, kindhearted, sweet lady, who enjoyed being with her family and friends. She joined Mangohick Baptist Church, King William County Virginia, where she attended regularly until her health begin to decline.
Sandra leaves to cherish her loving memories, her children ; Russell and Ricky Lewis of Fredericksburg Virginia, Mike Lewis of Richmond Virginia, Sandra (Pernell) Morris of Williamsburg Virginia, Jamie ( Curtis) Taliaferro of West Point Virginia, Antoine Young and, Aundre Lewis of Ladysmith Virginia; Eight Grandchildren: Ky'leah Morris, Kara Morris, KYPEE Morris, Desteni Taliaferro, Iyana Lewis, Braeden Lewis, Quiara Maloy, and Qoryn Maloy; one great- grand daughter; Heavynn Taliaferro of West Point VA, and a host of Cousins, friends and devoted friend Russell (Midget) Anderson AKA "The Best Man."
Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Mangohick Baptist Church, 147 Mangohick Church Road, Hanover, Virginia 23069 with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Jefferson and Lewis Family Cemetery, Lewis Moore Road, Ruther Glen, Virginia 22546.
Due to COVID-19 a mask or face covering will be required.
