Ruth Ann Noris,63 was united with her maker on November 19,2018 with her family by her side at Hospice of Piedmont in Charlottesville, Va.

Ruth was born January 22 1955, in Lexington, Nebraska to Lester and Roberta Olmstead. She graduated from Loveland High School in Loveland,Co.  In 1983 she met her husband Malcolm Norris and in 1984, they were married in Fort Collins, Colorado. Mrs. Norris took the role of being a mother and homemaker while her husband pursued a career in real estate. Over the years, they relocated to Illinois, Tennessee and finally Virginia.

Her interests included family, sewing, educating her children and reading her Bible. She was very active in the pro-life movement and was an avid supporter of Israel. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to the family members. Her charm and smile set enlightened any given moment.

Mrs. Norris is survived by her husband Malcolm Norris, sons and daughters in law, Micah Noyes, Malcom and Jessica Norris, Matthew Norris, and Mark Norris. daughters, Melissa Noyes, Mary Norris, and Melody Norris. Grandchildren, Tyler and Jaycee Noyes. She is also survived by her mother Roberta Olmstead and her sister, Susan Terry and brother, Jim Olmstead.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.
Interment will take place at 12 noon on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, Virginia  22172.
