Ruben Carl Deyo, Sr., 79, of Washington, D.C., formerly of King & Queen County, passed on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Va Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Ruth; son, Ruben C. Deyo, Jr.; daughters, Dorothy Stewart and Teresa Deyo and many other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Alexander S. Pope Funeral Home, 5538 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, Maryland 20747.
Funeral services will be held at 11 at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, 21180 Bagby Road, Sparta, VA 22552. Interment, with military honors, will be in the church cemetery.
