Peacefully on December 19, 2025, Robert James Branham-Turner is the oldest son of the late Frank Alfred Turner and the late Lucy Branham-Turner Venancio, returned home to eternal rest with the Lord. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Turner Sr., Viola White-Turner, Gladys Watson Branham, Travis Branham Jr, and Laura Toles Branham.
Robert accepted Christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Old Site Baptist Church of Fredericksburg VA. He also sung in the choir at Guinea Baptist Church of Woodford VA, when Aunt B Garnett would gather the kids up to sing his praises. He attended Lee Hill elementary, Walker Grant Middle School and James Monroe High School, where he played football.
Robert loved sports and looked forward to watching Sunday football. Later in life he took a trade to become a mechanic. Robert was a loving and caring son, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin.
He was preceded in death by his son Durrell Lamont Parker, his brother Rashard Branham. His uncles (who raised him) Douglas Mac Arthur Branham, Chester Branham and Clarence Ray Turner Jr, Aunt Shelia Brahman and niece Saani Sadler.
He leaves to cherish his sisters, (Devoted) Tina Turner-Ferguson (Andre), Rhonda Branham-Washington (Tony), Teresa Turner-Pleasant, Robin Branham-Washington, Thresa Johnson (Andre), and brother Joshua Tiller. Two granddaughters, Jameyah Mercer and Bre'Niayah Coleman. Devoted Aunt (who raised him) Stella Branham, nieces Tierra Turner, Takoyia Branham, Tiona Turner, Tanera Washington, and Shyla Tiller. Nephews Tavon Pleasant, John Turner, Tevin Pleasant, and Jacari Tiller. Great nieces Destinei Turner, Nadia Branham, Talyah Pleasant, and Taneya Latney. Great nephews, Quinton Latney Jr, Lamar Thomas, Jr., Tyjier Pleasant, and Amir Lumpkin. Aunts Dorothy Lawrence, Florence Branham, Arlene Hill, and Maria Garnett.
His extended loved ones, Warsaw Jackson, Rev. Carson Jackson (Brenda), Robin Jackson, Rev Carroll Jackson (Viola) and extended nieces and nephew.
Special cousins, Romel Turner (Tamara), Raymond Minor (LaQuan), Tammy Minor, Cardie Minor, Devetrias Johnson (Donald), Mike Branham, Steve Turner, Paula Branham, Annette Branham, Jessica Richardson, Johnathan Branham, Chris Branham, Craig Branham, Tiffany Coleman, Ramonda Carter, Robert Coleman, Jamie Coleman, Destiny Hill, Vanessa Mason, Tameka Branham, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
