Robert E. Lee, Sr 71, of Milford, Virginia entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 09, 2017 at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

Robert the youngest of four children was born on February, 5, 1946 in Shumansville, Virginia to the late Chester and Clara Lee.

Robert joined Mt. Tabor Baptist Church at an early age. He was currently employed by Martin Marietta Stone Quarry in Doswell, Virginia for many years and also various other jobs.

His brother Chester Lee preceded him in death.

Robert leaves cherished memories to two sons, Robert Lee, Jr. (Michelle) and Timothy Lee; one daughter Rena' George ( Michael ) a special devoted friend Joyce Washington; six grandchildren, Brittany, Timothy, Jr., Krystal, Kirsten, Patrick and Michael, Jr.; one sister Florence Garnett ( Raymond); one brother, Earl Lee ( Maxine); three nephews, Ray ( Barbara), Mack, (Tonia) and Mark; one special great-nephew Mark, Jr. and a host of great- nieces, nephews, cousins and friends among them three special friends, Billy Davis, Ronald Brown and Johnny James.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427. A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church 21795 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, Virginia 22514 with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church. cemetery.
