Robert Lee Deyo departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Born on January 31, 1931, Robert Lee was the second of six children born to the late Jubilee and Annie Deyo. He attended the King and Queen County Public Schools and worked for Keller aluminum for many years.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Reuben Deyo and his wife, Ruth, of Washington, DC; Andrew Deyo and his wife, Olivia, of Richmond, Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Deyo of Alexandria, Virginia, Brenda Deyo of Richmond, Virginia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Irene and two brothers, Floyd and Charlie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 21180 Bagby Road, Sparta, Virginia, with the, pastor, Rev. Jared Beasley, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 5, from noon to 8:00 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 and one hour before the service on Saturday.
