Robert Earl Beasley, Jr. 42, was born January 13, 1973. He quietly entered into eternal rest on Saturday afternoon March 7, 2015 at his home in Bowling Green, Va. He was affectionately known as "Big Bob" to his family and friends.
He received his education in the Caroline County Public School system and graduated from Caroline High School in 1992. He was employed by CVS Distribution Center in Fredericksburg, Va. until 2009 when his health began to fail.
Robert accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Jerusalem Baptist Church, where he attended periodically until his death.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert, Sr.
He leaves to cherish fond memories his mother, Doris Beasley of Bowling Green, Va. and one brother, Cory Beasley, of Forestville, Md.;three aunts, Doris Chestnut (Ray) of Washington D.C.; Kathleen Richards ( Charlie) of Bowling Green, Va. and Barbara Brown of St. Stephens Church, Va.; four uncles, Lewis Beasley (Virginia) and Lindsey Beasley (Gloria) of Bowling Green, Va. and Alvin and Jerry Brown of St. Stephens Church, Va.; two great aunts, Margaret Harvey and Laura Corbin of St. Stephens Church, Va.; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Also very dear and supportive to Bob was the Hudson Family and forever buddies, Truett Jr. and Joey.
A viewing will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, March 13, at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green,
Va. and one hour before the service at the church.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 21180 Bagby Road, Bowling Green, Va. 22427.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
