Richard Marc Grigsby ("Marc"), born on July 10, 1947, departed this life on February 8, 2016 at his home in Annapolis, Maryland. Marc was the son of the late Richard and Lynn Grigsby, also of Annapolis, Maryland and the beloved son-in-law of Buck and Doris Nelson of Bowling Green, Virginia.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dale; his devoted son, Michael; his biological sister, Sharron Guthrie; his "other" sisters, Carolyn Nelson, Dianne Redcross, Joyce Rose, Carmita Thomas and Sharon Craig; his beloved daughter-in-law, Octava Grigsby; his grandsons, Michael Jr., Matthew and Braydon; his granddaughter, Sophia (aka "Doodlebug"; his dear aunt, Ollie Pollard; his dear friends, Phil Hatcher, Ed Lee Johnson, Mike Malburne and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at W. M. Reese & Sons Mortuary, P.A., 1922 Forest Drive, Annapolis, Maryland 21401, on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The funeral, interment and repass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Stephens Baptist Church, 29436 Sparta Road, Milford, Virginia 22514. Donations made in memory of Richard Marc Grigsby to cancer research organizations would be appreciated.
