Richard Lindsay Coleman Sr., 61, of Caroline County departed this life peacefully Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at his residence.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his wife of 25 years, Margaret Coleman; mother Helen Coleman; three daughters, Tracy A. Jones, Ashley Coleman and Candace Coleman; one son, Richard L. Coleman Jr.; and a stepson, Alvin L. Coleman; five siblings, James L. Coleman (Pam), Louis A. Coleman (Terri), Robert H. Coleman (Loretta), Dorothy Green (James) and Loretta Coleman; three aunts, Clarice Terrell, Alice Fletcher and Frances Jones; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, March 15, at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at Second New Hope Baptist Church, 3836 Summit Crossing Road, Fredericksburg, Va. 22408.

Burial will follow in Mount Lawn Cemetery in Woodford.
