Reginald "Reggie" Samuel Davis, 40, of Henrico County, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2015 after graciously donating his organs to various awaiting transplant recipients and research institutions.

He leaves behind memories to his dedicated and loving wife Diana B. Davis, who resides in Henrico County and his cherished son Roland A. Davis, born in Chesterfield County. Also his mother Rosemary (Albert); his grandmothers, Williana (Cullen) and Regina; five siblings, Stephanie, Lora (Maurice), Henry (Ronnet), Alberta (Shaun), and Williana (Namen). Along with 6 nieces, 8 nephews and a host of friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father Albert L. Davis in 2008.

Born in Richmond, VA on October 4, 1975, but raised in Caroline County, Reggie's easy going disposition, ready smile and helpful nature made him irresistible to love and even harder to dislike. As a youth he often recalled happy moments with his pet dogs, fishing and being outside with nature. It was also during this time that he discovered his God given talent to be able to repair various appliances which later advanced to any type of motorized objects; but especially vehicles. In the years that followed, Reggie's amazing talent developed into diesel mechanic roles with Roadside Repair/Tractor Trailer Repair in Virginia Beach, VA as an Apprentice, Total Truck Trailer Repair in Portsmouth, VA as the shop Foreman and his final position with SuperValu/Richfoods in Richmond, VA as a class B diesel truck mechanic. It was in this role where he successfully completed training and certification for Cummins engine repair. He was very proud of and passionate about his accomplishments within this profession and forever grateful for all of the training and support he received from each shop. Being a diesel mechanic meant the world to him and allowed him to provide for his family needs and more often the personal self indulgences of Roland and Diana.

As an adult, he was no spend thrift when it came to his hobbies of restoring motorcycles for pleasure and resale, installing car stereo systems for city competitions and watching the most gruesome and disheartening horror movies, which often sent Diana running out of the room.

His sudden departure from our lives have left an enormous void with everyone because he is simply unforgettable and will remain in our hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Va. 22427, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. for family members and friends.
