Obituary

On Sunday, June 5, 2016, Raymond Larry Taylor entered into eternal rest at his residence in Milford, Virginia.

He was the son of the late Clinton A. "Chinch" Taylor and Gracie Green Taylor of Milford, Virginia. Larry attended Caroline County Public Schools. He accepted his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Tabor Baptist Church where he attended until his health failed. Larry was a general laborer until he became disabled.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Henry and Clinton Taylor, Jr.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Dorothy Mudd of Spotsylvania, Virginia; two daughters, Olivia Renia Taylor of King William, Virginia and Raylene Jeffries of Ruther Glen, Virginia; one son, Earl Mudd of Ruther Glen, Virginia; two step-sons, Marcus and Alvin Mudd of Spotsylvania, Virginia; his mother and caretaker, Gracie Taylor; one brother Patrick Taylor (Nadia)of Henrico, Virginia; four sisters, Gloria Taylor and Joyce Childs(Clarence) both of Milford, Virginia, Viola Taylor and Diane Taylor-Stevens(Rev. Christopher Stevens) both of Woodford, Virginia; four grandchildren; one brother -in-law, Lee Wilson; three aunts Mary Shield and Schiffon Green both of New Jersey and Rev. Sally Waller of Bowling Green, Virginia; two uncles; Nathaniel Green (Sydney) of Ladysmith, Virginia and Kermit Green (Gloria) of Richmond, Virginia five nieces, eleven nephews, five great-nephews, five great-nieces and a host of cousins, two devoted; Vanessa Wright and Gertie Johnson other relatives and friends,two devoted ,Terry Tillman and Coby Motley.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 12 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 and one hour before the service at the church.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 21795 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, Virginia 22514.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
