Randolph Edward Woolfolk of Spotsylvania, Virginia passed away unexpectedly at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the age of 69.

Randolph Edward Woolfolk was born to Susie and the late Alfred Woolfolk, Sr. on October 27, 1946 in Bowling Green, Virginia. Growing up in Caroline County with his three siblings, Randolph graduated from Union High School in 1966.

Randolph's service and commitment to his country started on July 7, 1966 when he joined the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he worked in the private sector for several manufacturing plants. Continuing his federal service, in 1984 Randolph went on to work for General Service Administration for over 14 years. Also in 1984 his service in the U.S. Army National Guard began. From 1984 to 2004 SGT Woolfolk served with the 1710th Transportation Company VaVRNG at Fort A.P. Hill. Randolph's service wasn't only with federal employment. he served as a Caroline County Sheriff's Deputy from 1991 to 1998. It was in 2013 that Randolph completed his call of duty when he retired as a police officer at Fort A.P. Hill in Bowling Green, Virginia

He married Deborah M. Ross in 1969. Through this union Randolph and Debbie were blessed with three children.

Randolph is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Deborah Woolfolk; his loving mother, Susie Woolfolk; two sons, Randolph E. Woolfolk,ll and Daniel S. Woolfolk; daughter, Randreia W. Mickens (Rico); two brothers, Alfred Woolfolk, Jr. (Virginia) and Irving Woolfolk, Sr. (Edwina); sister Ethel Carter (David); three aunts, Shirley Boulware (Webb) ,Sally Boulware and Barbara Woolfolk; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two dedicated brothers-in-law, Charles E. Ross, Jr. (Rosia) and Craig W.N. Ross (Theresa); sister-in-law Elsie D. Southerland (David) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the Celebration of Life service that will be held at the Caroline Community Center on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from noon until 1:00 p.m. The center is located at 7202 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22514
