Randolph "Randy" McKee Lindsey, 51, of Ruther Glen, Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va.

He was born on May 17, 1957, to Mary E. Samuel Lindsey and the late Charles M. Lindsey. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Bowling Green and was ordained as a deacon on April 9, 2005 under the leadership of Pastor Kevin Childs. He was a faithful servant of the Lord, serving on the Deacon Board and Music Ministry.

Randy is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Ann; two daughters, Kaneesha and Jasmine Lindsey all of Ruther Glen; his mother, Mary Samuel Lindsey of Woodford; five sisters, seven brothers, three brothers-in-law, six sisters-in-law, four aunts, one uncle, father and mother-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, at the Caroline County Community Services Center, 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, VA 22514 with the Rev. Kevin Childs delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, from noon to 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edward Funeral Home, Inc.
