Ralph W. White, Sr.,
affectionately known as Griff, Woodie, Winkie, Pappy, Rabbit, and Mikey, was born on September 14, 1940 to the late Annie Bell White. Ralph departed this life of February 5, 2011 at his residence in Aylett, Virginia.

Ralph accepted the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Providence Baptist Church in Aylett, Virginia.

He was joined in Holy matrimony to Virginia Mae Gregory for forty-four years. To this union five children were born; Ralph Jr., Karen, Tammy, Petrina, and Corey.

Ralph was educated in the King William County School System. He worked at Southern State for 30 years, Kings Dominion, Warner Brothers, and in his spare time worked for Johnny Gillman and Harvey Wright.

Ralph leaves to cherish a loving and devoted wife, Virginia G. White of Aylett; five children, Ralph W. White (Angela) of Tappahannock, Karen W. Hill (Thomas) of Aylett, Tammy W. Roy (William) of Aylett, Petrina D. White of Bowling Green, and Corey T. White (Michelle) of Richmond, one sister; Sallie W. Fauntleroy (Robert)of Aylett, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law, 1 niece, 1 great niece, 1 great nephew, and a host of cousins and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011, 4pm to 8pm at Providence Baptist Church, Aylett, Va.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1pm at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
