Raheem Kevin Oliver Pleasants, affectionately knowns as Foots, was born to James "Chuck" Pleasants and Deloris Brown on August 23, 1977. Foots attended Caroline County Public Schools until he took the opportunity to go on the road with his truck-driving uncle and cousin. Foots spent years doing what he loved by building a network of truck drivers who trusted him and traveling back and forth across the country with them. He moved furniture, equipment, and assisted in shipyards.

Foots was a true family man. He was always cracking jokes, displaying the biggest smile, and dropping words of wisdom. He loved deeply and was sure to let you know. He never walked away without a "love you."

Foots was preceded in death by both of his parents, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

He leaves memories to be cherished by his aunts, Shirley Brown (Steve), Barbara Sue Pleasants (Richard), and Sydney Rutherford; many cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc; 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.
