Perry Garfield Jones was called home to glory on Friday November 27,2020 at his residence surrounded by his children and loves ones. He was born January 14, 1936 in Caroline County to the late John and Gladys Jones. He joined First Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Sparta VA at an early age. He attended Caroline County Public Schools. He worked in Quantico VA for many years , there after  he was employed at Brook hill Construction in Richmond VA . He enjoyed  working in his yard and "lord he hated getting his hands dirty". He loved his children and family.

Perry Jones was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters and other relatives. He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife Margaret Jackson (Jones) whom he joined  in holy matrimony on March 6, 1958, his devoted Sister Alice Ross(Murphy) with whom he resided,, three devoted daughters, Lina Fahey(John) of South Dakota, Sharon Jones of Fredericksburg VA, and Gladys Foster (Frank ) of Woodford VA two son's Timothy Jones(Virginia) and a devoted son Steven Jones of Ruther Glen VA. Seven grandchildren Lynette Braxton(Wendell) Timothy, Latisha and Kenneth Johnson, Brittany Brown , Tashada and Jakyia Foster. Eight great grand children Mya and Kamora Bowman, Semajae Hewlett, Timothy Jr, Dayesa and Lesha Johnson, J.B. and Jasmine Banks. One brother-in-law Robert Jackson of Washington, D.C. One sister-in-law Mary Jones of Ashland VA and a Host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends . A  devoted caregiver Sherry Wright.

A walk through viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home; 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc. with a viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at  the Jones Family Cemetery, 5767 Hewlett Road, Ruther Glen, Virginia 22546.
