Paul Thomas Coleman went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 17,2019 at his residence. He was born October 14 ^th , 1939 in Washington D.C. to the late Ernest and Frances Elizabeth Ferguson Coleman.

Paul attended Caroline Public School. Later on September 21, 1955 his family moved from Virginia to Los Angeles California. Paul enlisted into the United States Army from November 18, 1958 to January 3, 1963. After his discharge he earned several more working titles. He worked construction, drove a taxi and a limousine, and also became head of security for Corvus, before he pursued his primary passion locksmithing. He was the owner of a locksmith shop in Los Angeles, California. Years later he sold his business, packed up all his belongings and moved to Milford, Virginia to enjoy his retirement.

But when you love people and your job you don't stay retired for long. He was a locksmith for 45 years. Continuing that passion, Paul became known as the "Keman" to his community. He serviced the community by installing locks, making keys and security related issues all the up to his passing.

He was loved and admired by many, and would go far out of his way to help anyone, anywhere, at anytime.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Ernest H. Coleman, Ralph S. Coleman, Louis A. Coleman, Rowland E. Coleman, and his two sisters Detrice A. Coleman and Geneva Coleman. Paul leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter Gwendolyn Denise Coleman, his brother Charles D. Coleman, and three grandchildren, Laquisha, Lavonte, and Kamari. Who all reside in California. Also a host of nieces, nephews, and a long list of cousins and amazing friends.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 4:00 p.m. at the C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc. 16476 Richmond Turnpike Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.
