Patrick Alan Johnson was born on June 23, 1966, to Gloria and the late Andrew Johnson. He departed this life on December 29, 2025, at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville VA, peacefully.

Patrick was a resident of Devon Group Home in Ladysmith, Virginia, and attended the Caroline Day Program via Rappahannock Area Community Service Board. Red was his preferred color. Thanksgiving and Christmas were his favorite holidays. Patrick's brother Ricky is also a participant at the day program, and they enjoy spending time together, frequently sitting by the window and observing the traffic. If anybody knew how to get Patrick to smile Ricky knew how to do just that! Patrick appreciated dining out and shopping. He was particularly fond of wearing hats and is known for being laid-back, often relaxing on the patio in his rocking chair.

Patrick leaves to cherish his loving memory to his mother, Gloria Samuels of Bowling Green, VA; his sister, Sharon Harvey of King William, VA; his brothers Michael Johnson of Portsmouth, VA, and Ricky Johnson of Bowling Green, VA. He also leaves loving memories to his nephews DeMarcus Harvey of Newport News, VA, James Harvey Jr. of King and Queen, VA, Roshard Harvey of Chesterfield, VA; and John Harvey (Shelby) of King William, VA.

He also leaves to cherish his memory with a special Aunt Annie Mae Chatman of Spotsylvania, VA; Aunt Pauline Bundy (Wayne) Tappahannock Virginia; Uncle Robert Latney of Fredericksburg, VA; along with a host of great-nieces, great-great-nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Jerusalem Baptist Church 21180 Bagby Road, Sparta, Virginia 22552 with a viewing one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be private and at a later date, at Windsor Gardens Cemetery & Mausoleum Dutton, Virginia 23050.
