Ollie Smith Carter's Obituary
Ollie Smith Carter, 88, of Ruther Glen, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 25, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carter. She is survived by five loving and devoted children, The Rev. Robert L. Carter (Gladys), Hilda Taylor (Russell Taylor, deceased), Gerald Carter (Joyce), Betty Carter (Burton) and Brenda Carter; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Jones and Raye Williams; brother, Otis Smith (Hazel); and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, March 2, at Jericho Baptist Church, 8435 Jericho Road, Ruther Glen, Va., 22546. Rev. Glen Leverette, Sr., Pastor will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A viewing will be held from noon to 8 PM, Monday, March 1, at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Va., 22427 and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.
