Oliver Cornwell "Pee Wee" Johnson, Sr. 82 entered eternal rest on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 8, 1933 to the late James E. and Bertha Lee Wright Johnson of Caroline County, Virginia.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, two sons, Oliver C. Johnson, Jr. (Mary) and Stacy Johnson (Megan); seven grandchildren, Latasha Johnson, Lakeisha Fortune (Tyrone),, Oliver C. Johnson, III, Shamequa Obee, Sydney Biondo, Mia Johnson & Eli Johnson; two great grandchildren, Areyona Reynolds and Tavaris Fortune; five brothers, James "Slim" Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson (Mary), Rolland Johnson (Helen), Elmer Johnson (Jeanette) and Andrew Johnson; one sister, Bertha Irene Byrd; four brothers-in-law, John H. Samuel (Frances), George E. Samuel (Linda), Wayne Samuel and Steven R. Samuel (Hazel); five sisters-in-law, Lillie M. Lee, Ruby V, Samuel, Jean D. Samuel, Margie Henderson (Elvin) and Shermel V. Rock (John); one uncle, Raymond Wright; three aunts, Viola Wright, Elsie Childs and Eunice Coleman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday, November 13, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 and one hour before the service on Saturday, at the church.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 21795 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, Virginia 22514 with Rev. Antonio Clinkscales delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery,
