Maria Ann Baylor (Ann) was born on March 31, 1932, in Caroline County, Virginia. She departed this life on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Henrico Doctor's Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.
Ann was employed by Bowling Green Public Schools as Assistant Supervisor of the Cafeteria, retiring with over 22 years of service. Later, Ann worked as a caregiver in Home Health Care and continued in this field until the time of her passing.
She joined Second Mount Calvary Baptist Church at an early age serving in various positions--Senior Choir, President of the Pastor's Aide Club, Missionary Society, Church Treasurer and a devoted Deaconess.
She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Donna Wynn and her husband, James Wynn of Dumfries, Virginia; a grandson, Adam Wynn of Silver Springs, Maryland; three aunts, Sarah Chapman of Milford, Virginia, Laura Berry of Washington, DC, Missouri Mahoney of White Plains, New York; one brother-in-law, Ancil Baylor of Bowling Green, Virginia; a devoted friend, Alberta Morton of Bowling Green, Virginia and a host of cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at Second Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 17247 New Baltimore Road, Milford, Virginia 22514 and one hour before the service on Saturday at the Community Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, at Caroline Community Services Center, 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, Virginia 22514. Burial will follow in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Woodford, Virginia.
