Lisa Renee Johnson of Norcross, Georgia, formerly of Caroline County, Virginia, peacefully departed this life surrounded by family on May 26, 2023.

Lisa was born on June 13, 1974, to Barbara Ann Fortune Johnson and the late Lionel Matthew Johnson, Sr. in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She graduated from Caroline High School in 1992 and attended Norfolk State University and Virginia State University, pursuing a degree in Mass Communications.

At an early age, Lisa accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and joined Faith Landmarks Ministries in Richmond, Virginia. She later attended Norcross -Victory Church in Norcross, Georgia. Upon beginning her professional career, she courageously moved to Atlanta, Georgia and exceeded expectations in her role as administrative assistant at Seasons Comforts in Suwanee, Georgia.

Lisa never turned down a challenge and could often be seen hiking up Stone Mountain, cooking a delicious salmon dinner or tackling DIY projects around her home. She also volunteered in the children's ministry at Victory Church.

Her father, Lionel Johnson Sr.; sweet grandmother, Mary Fortune; affectionate niece, Quiara Johnson; and uncles, Larry and Kevin Fortune preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Barbara Fortune Callands; brothers, Lionel Matthew Johnson, Jr. (Jay) and Daniel Johnson; sisters, Christie Johnson and Robyn Johnson; two nieces, Kaylee Adams and Desirae Johnson; three nephews, Jordan Williams, Jaden Johnson, and Joseph Johnson; one devoted goddaughter, Titiana Marsh; an aunt, Mary Estelle Rodriguez; uncles, James, Charles, Bruce, Jon and Joseph Johnson, Raymond (Boe), David, Bruce and Troy Fortune; best friend and cousin, Meloney Wallace and a host of other cousins and friends.

There will be no pubic visitation or service.   A private service will be held for the immediate family.   .
