Laura Marie Pollard Green, 62, of Aylett, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at VCU Health System - MCV Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.


She is survived by her husband, Edward W. Green, Sr.; two sons, Horace A. Pollard (Rhonda) and Edward W. Green, Jr.; three siblings, Eldridge Pollard (Eunice), Jessie Pollard (Dearl) and Julia Jackson (Roy); two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday, July 24 from noon to 7 p.m with a Christian Wake from 7 to 8 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, 4570 Dorrell Rd., Aylett, Virginia 23009, and one hour before the service on Saturday at the church.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25 at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
