Kathryn L. Brannan, 84, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 16, at her daughter's home in Ruther Glen, Virginia.

She was born in Caroline County, Virginia to the late Wesley C. and Sedessa Twisdale Tolliver. The middle child, she was a loving sister to Jean Tolliver Anderson and Collis C. Tolliver who both also preceeded her in death.

She married Walter Brannan on October 18, 1950. This marriage ended with his death on December 5, 2008.

She is survived by her loving and dedicated daughter, Sharon A. Brannan of Ruther Glen, Virginia;
her grandson, Walter Johnathan Brannan "Booney"; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 26 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22546, and one hour before the service at the church on Sunday.

A celebration of life will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church (Shumansville), 21795 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, Virginia 22514 with the Rev. Antonio O. Clinkscales, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
