Julian "June" Edward Anderson, Jr., 89, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 2, 2015 at his residence in Milford, Virginia. He was the son of the late Alice Bayham Anderson and Julian Anderson.

Julian attended Union High School until he was called to serve his country in his senior year in high school. He was affectionately known as "June" and was reared in a home where Christ was the center. He joined Second Mt. Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Davenport.

June retired from Foreign and Domestic Company and later worked for the Departmnet of Public Utilities in Caroline County.

To cherish his memories, June leaves his sister, Maggie Johnson of New York City, brother N. Rick Anthony Richards of Bronx New York; granddaughter, Veronica DeWitt of Maryland; niece, Lerether Heyward of New York City; nephew, Clifton "Dipsey" Anderson and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 15, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Second Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 17247 New Baltimore Road, Milford, Virginia 22514, with a celebration of life at 3 p.m. at the church. Rev. Lewis Yancey will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wrightsville Road, Milford, Virginia.
