Johnnie C. Nolen, 63 of Ruther Glen, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Sunday April 28,2019, at the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center Fredericksburg, Virginia.

He was born November 28, 1955 in Henry County to the late Johnnie C. Nolen, Sr. and Ivery Lee Woods Young. Johnnie spent the majority of his life in Brooklyn, New York. he retired as a truck driver and later in 2006, he  moved to Caroline County, Virginia to live with his sister Marie. Johnnie was one that  never met a stranger. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife Francine Nolen of Brooklyn , New York; two step-sons, Enock and Michael Dobson of Brooklyn, New York; two brothers Robert A. Nolen of Brooklyn, New York and Rodney L. Nolen of Martinsville, Virginia; one devoted sister Marie A. Nolen of Ruther Glen, Virginia; four nephews Rodney Nolen and Robert Hickson of Brooklyn, New York Tyrique Nolen, devoted Jacob Brown of Ruther Glen, Virginia; three nieces Takeisha Battle of Brooklyn, New York, Megin Nolen and Tyreisha Nolen of Martinsville, Virginia; four great nephews and two great nieces; two loyal furry friends, Peppa and Lucky and a host of other relative and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427. Family will be receiving friends from 1:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
