Jerry Rollins, 49, of Fredericksburg, Virginia passed away on September 13, 2009 at the Medical College of Virginia Medical Center in Richmond, Va.

Mr. Rollins was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee Rollins, two sisters, Carrie Taylor and Tonya Rollins, two brothers, Stuart Taylor and Lionel Taylor.

Mr. Rollins was born May 6, 1960 and he served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include a son, Antonio Johnson of King George, Va.; his mother, Clementine Taylor of Darlington, S.C.; three sisters, Roseland V. Grant (Harold) of King George, Va.; Saundra Walker (James) of Fredericksburg, Va.; Amy Montes of Triangle, Va.; four brothers, William R. Taylor of Petersburg, Va.; Glenn Taylor (Marcia) of Fredericksburg, Va.; Henry Rollins (Connie) of Culpeper, Va.; Darryl Rollins of Orange, Va.; his paternal grandmother, Martha Rollins of Spotsylvania, Va.; two granddaughters, five uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a family of very special children he shared his life with, and a devoted friend, Gloria Jean Manmiller.

A Funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Carson M. Jackson at the C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 with interment to follow at Salem Baptist Church in Jersey, Va.

Public viewing will be held from 12 noon to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc.
