Jerrell  Leon Hill, son of the late Raymond and Garnette Hill was born June 2, 1953 in Caroline County, Virginia in the Passing community. He departed this life on July 19, 2018 at the residence of his cousin, Peggy Fortune.

He attended King and Queen public schools. He later moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia where he worked.

After the passing of his mother Jerrell moved to Texas. He yearn to be back home so he returned and was the caregiver for  his uncle. After his passing Jerrell moved back to Texas and retired from West Texas Drum. He came home to visit his family in May 2015 and was convinced to stay since he was retired.

He leaves cherished memories to his siblings, Warren (Orchid), Roderick (Pamela), Joyce (David), Patricia (Patrick), Deane, Harold, Chris, Stacy, Jeanette (Kelby), Priscilla, and Peggy; one uncle, Lewis Jeter; one aunt, Ida Jeter, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on  Friday, July 27, 2018 at Saint Stephens Baptist Church, 29436 Sparta Road, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427. Interment will be private.
