Henry Grant Howard departed this life unexpectedly on October 30, 2020 in Spotsylvania, Virginia.  He was born on November 7, 1987 to Sandra and Henry "Rabbit" Taylor at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Henry left school in 2005, but later received his GED.  He went to work for Caroline County Public School as a maintenance worker.  In order to further his career, he secured employment with Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) in 2020. Additionally, Henry had his own business doing remodeling work.

He was a hard worker who always put forth his best efforts in everything that he did.  Henry had a contagious smile and loved to sleep and listen to music.

Henry was preceded in death by two aunts, Inez McFadden and Jenna Mae Howard; his grandfather, David Howard, Sr. and a cousin, Niecy McFadden.

He was a loving father to two boys, Jaquan "CJ" Howard and Henry "Baby" Grant Howard; a caring grandson to his grandmother, Rose Ann Smith; a wonderful  nephew to Patricia Lee, Janet Fortune, and Teresa Robinson and uncles, David Howard, Jr., William Taylor and more; a devoted brother to his sisters, Cassandra Howard, Renee Howard, London Taylor, April Owens and Ebony Wilkins; first cousin to  Shawnette Howard-Cisneros, Kenya Fortune, Jasmine Fortune and more; a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, Nevaeh, Jalyla, Jihmeer, Alexander, Zasmine Howard, Jayceon Howard, Dale Jr., Olivia, Lila, Elijah, Zes and family and more; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday November 6, 2020 at C.W.Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday November 8, 2020 at C.W.Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 .

Interment will follow at St. James Baptist Church, 19514 Sparta Road, Milford, Virginia 22514
