Obituary

Hampton C. Freeman, 63, of Ruther Glen, Virginia, enter into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at his residence.

Hampton "Nene" Freeman attended Caroline County Public Schools and was employed for 10 years with OFIC North America Inc.

Nene was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He was proud member of New City Fellowship Church. Hampton spoke often about his church, telling everyone he met how much he enjoyed the services and fellowship with his friends. He often bragged about never missing a Sunday and joyfully saying, "I really love going to church."

He was an outdoorsman, a creative soul, and an agriculturist who loved animals. He had a passion for fishing, a great sense of humor, and was a great listener who never judged. With a heart full of kindness, Hampton was always willing to help whenever he could. He was understanding, loving, and spoke positive words when they were needed most. No matter how hard times got, he never gave up.

Hampton brought light and joy to those around him. To know him was to know that he made the world better simply by being in it.

His memory will be cherished by his mother, Christine T. Jones.

A devoted fiancée Roxanne Hubbard. Three children Takina Dillon, Jovante Eura (his wife Frankee Eura), and Neguon Freeman. Five grandchildren Takeara Dillon, Jermaine Dillon Jr., Demetrious Beale, Saniyah Eura, and Journee Eura.

Eight siblings Allen Freeman and his wife Roganda, Timothy Freeman his wife Pamela, Anthony Freeman his friend Rhonda, Thomas Freeman his friend Holly, Valrie Pratt and husband Leander Pratt, Stacy Jones, Karen Dawson and Muriel Rhodes.

A dear friend Philip Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
