Gwendolyn Louise Gray, affectionately called "Gwen" by family and friends was born October 15, 1950 to Franklin and Gladys Gray, Sr.
She was suddenly called to eternal rest on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.

Gwen joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Chilesburg, Virginia. As a young child she served in the youth choir and missionary. She had a strong passion for the usher ministry in which she served faithfully for many years. Gwen was also very active in the Christian Board of Education.

Gwen graduated from Union High School in Bowling Green, Virginia in 1969. She was employed at McLane Distribution Center in Stafford, Virginia for 31 years.

Gwen was a dedicated caregiver for her parents. She enjoyed helping her family and people throughout the community in any way she could whenever there was a need.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Franklin Sr. and Gladys Gray, two sisters; Sheila Gray of Richmond, Virginia and Cynthia Gray of Ruther Glen, Virginia, one brother; Franklyn Gray, Jr. of Ruther Glen, Virginia, one niece; Loryl Taylor of Richmond, Virginia, two nephews; Bradley Gray of Ruther Glen, Virginia and Terrence Gray (Sasha) of Chesterfield, Virginia, a host of aunts, uncles, friends and extended family.

A viewing will be held at C. W . Edwards Funeral Home 16476 Richmond Turnpike Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 on Tuesday, August 25, from 12 noon to 8pm and one hour before the service at the church.

A home going celebration will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 26 ,at Ebenezer Baptist Church 18562 County Line Church Road, Ruther Glen, Virginia 22546

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
