Goldie Elizabeth Hill Garlick, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by son, Graham Garlick. She is survived by her mother, Maxine Hill; children, Gary Hill (Nandi), Taylor Garlick, Jr. (Patsy), Jessie Rollins (Jerrel), Goldie Robinson (Marvin), Maxine Wyche (Tony), Angela Gray (Gary), and Ida Hughes; 33 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

A public viewing will be held on Mon., Nov. 14th, from 12 Noon to 8 pm at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm. Remains will lay in state from 12 Noon to 1 pm on service day.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tues., Nov. 15th at 1 pm at Ashland Christian Center, 12230 Maple Street, Ashland, VA., 23005-7649

Interment at Mangohick Baptist Church, Hanover, VA.

Repast will follow at the Dawn Community Center, Dawn, VA.
