Gloria Mae "Sis" Anderson, 60 of Ruther Glen, Virginia entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence M. Anderson, Sr. and Geneva Reynolds Anderson. She was baptized at an early age at St. John Baptist Church and attended the public schools of Caroline County.

Her early employment history consisted of working at A.P. Hill, driving the bus for the disabled at RACSB, National Coach and Family Dollar as an assistant manager until her health failed.

Gloria  loved her family and a willing and giving spirit to everyone including her pets. Her hobbies were traveling , gradening, playing bid whiz with her grandchildren and making sure everybody was taken care of. She also loved listening to her favorite artist "Prince"

She was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence M. Anderson, Jr.

She leaves fond and cherished memories to her daughter; Tamica Anderson, Kristina Wilson and Crystal Anderson; five grandchildren, Chantiera and Chamira Anderson, Tajon Whiten, Chanelle Anderson and Skylar Wilson; one great grandchild, Deon Green; one aunt Shirley Waller;one godchild, Melissa Holmes adopted sisters; Mary Fox (Charles), Edith Wright and Verdree Ann Parker one adopted brother, Reverend Robert Wright ( Alberta); loyal friends, Pernell Childs, Diane Wilson and Vernell Green.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday , March 30, 2018 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Caroline Community Services Center 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, Virginia 22514 with a viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the Reedy Baptist Church Cemetery 15076 Dry Bridge Road, Ruther Glen, Virginia.
