George Foster,76,of Aylett, Virginia entered into eternal rest at his home on Tuesday, Septmber 29, 2009.

He is survived by devoted his wife, Lavinia Foster; two daughters: Rev. Deloris P. Gwathmey and her husband, Ginter, of Hanover, VA and Sandra F. Ellerbe and her husband, Anthony, of Richmond, VA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A viewing will be held from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, VA 22427.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 4, 2009, at the St. Paul Baptist Church, Aylett, VA with the Rev. Robert D. Brown, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
