Geneva Lilly May Brown Green was born on March 17, 1939, in Caroline County Virginia.  Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whispered in her ear and told her it is time to take your rest in the early morning hours on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of 83.

Geneva was educated in the Caroline County Public Schools system. She joined Mt. Salem Baptist Church at an early age and attended regularly until her health began to fail.

Geneva was predeceased by her beloved parents Reverend Nathanial and Eliza Brown; her brother Sylvester Brown; her son Charles (Chucky) White; daughter Alicia Foxx and grandson Joshua Brown.

Geneva leaves to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy, her four son Kevin Brown Sr. (Sheryl), Keenan Brown Sr. (Rose), David Green, and Nelson Green (Demetria Anderson); ten grandchildren Kevin Brown Jr., Jason Brown, Keenan (Snapper) Brown Jr., Kenton Brown, Kris Brown, Vicheal Foxx Jr. (Anastasia), Victoria Foxx, Daviona Green, devoted grandson David (Scooter) Green Jr. and devoted granddaughter Nelshay Green; nine great grandchildren, devoted great granddaughter Kayla Brown; five sisters Ilene Brown, Urcell Coleman (Phillip), Vurnia Fountain (Eddie), Verlaine Jackson and Sandra Brown; one brother Virgil Brown (Geneva) and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, devoted nieces Marlette Hale (Thomas), Darlene Morris (Anthony) and Sharon Morris (Marvin); devoted family friends Melissa Murphy and Shannon Hill.
