Obituary

Floyd D. "Buddy" Lewis, was born September 27, 1957 in Caroline County, Virginia to Eva Johnson Lewis and the late Eddie Lewis. He departed this life on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Spotsylvania Memorial Regional Hospital, Spotsylvania, Va.

Buddy accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church, Bowling Green, Va. by Rev. Moye. He attended Caroline County Public Schools and was employed with Keller Ladder Industries, Milford, Va. and later with General Products in Fredericksburg, Va.

Buddy was known for his sense of humor, love and laughter for people. His favorite saying was "you think you so smot".

Buddy was preceded in death by his father Eddie Lewis and three brothers, Eddie Chastine; Rudolph Lewis and James Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Joseph Conway and Zackrey Waller both of King George, Va., one daughter Shanta Waller of Fredericksburg, Va. ,two grandchildren; Joseph Conway, Jr. and Zykyah Waller. his mother Eva Lewis of Woodford, Va.; three sisters Lelia Baker of Woodford, Va.; Deborah Lewis of Fredericksburg, Va. and Diane Lewis of Ruther Glen, Va. where Buddy also resided; aunts Flonetta Johnsons and Beatrice Lewis both of Woodford, Va.; Mary Morris (James) of Sposylvania, Va. and Emma Lou Christopher of Fredericksburg, Va.; uncles, James Lewis (Ocellia); Bernard Lewis (Helen) and Charles Lewis all of Woodford, Va. and Joe Lewis (Rose Marie) of Baltimore, Maryland, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday , March 27, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Va. 22427

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 127 S. Main Street, Bowling Green, Va.22427
Interment will follow in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Woodford, Va. 22580
