Eric Anthony King, 25, of Sparta died suddenly on Sunday, June 10, 2012, in Caroline County, Virginia. He was affectionately known as "Nips". He graduated from Caroline High School in Milford, Virginia.

Eric is survived by his father, Thomas R. Jeter, Jr. and his mother, Cassandra A. Jeter; his fiance, Kenya Covington; son, Jordin Thomas Anthony King; grandparents, Lourene E. Payne and James W. King (Teresa); one sister, Erica Jeter, one brother, Brian Jeter; three uncles, one aunt; one honorary uncle; two great aunts; two great uncles; one great great aunt and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, June 15, from noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.

The celebratio of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, at St. Stepens Baptist Church, 29346 Sparta Road, Milford, Virginia 22514, with the Rev. Jared Beasley delivering the eulogy.

Interment will follow at the Ware family cemetery in Caroline County, Virginia.
