Rebecca Elizabeth Wilson entered eternal peace on February 22, 2022, due to underlying health problems. She was born April 19, 1932, in Caroline County Virginia, to the late Elizabeth and Benny Lee Green Sr. Becky and was the oldest of her four siblings: George Anthony Green, Benny Green, Lucy Green, and Mary Green. She was married to the late Isaiah Wilson in 1953 and they had four handsome sons, three of whom preceded her in death: Reginald Wilson, George Wilson and Gary Wilson.

She was educated in the Caroline County School system and graduated from Union High School in 1952 in Bowling Green Virginia. Soon after graduation, she moved to Washington, D.C. where she was married and started her own family. Becky was always a hard worker and had the opportunity to work in retail, hospitality, and customer service. From February 1974 to March 1996, Becky worked at the Pentagon as a lead maintenance worker where her duties consisted of the general cleaning of the facility and keeping it maintained and in good condition. After the Pentagon, she worked at Sears as a retail manager and continued there until she returned home to Bowling Green, Virginia, where she retired from Bowling Green Primary School as a lunch attendant.

Becky enjoyed family, traveling, cooking, cleaning, music and friends. She had a kind heart and would do whatever she could to help anyone in need. She later attended First Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Sparta, Virginia where she sang in the choir.

Becky leaves precious memories to her sister, Mary Green; son, Isaiah Dewayne Wilson; six grandchildren, Nathaniel Lewis Sr., Nazeem Wilson, Aniysa Wilson, Kierra Wilson, Najae Wilson and Jasmin Drain; two great grandchildren, Zenayla Williams and Nathaniel Lewis Jr. and a host of close friends, family and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 21180 Bagby Road, Sparta, Virginia 22580 with a viewing  one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 a mask  or face covering will be required required.
